When you wish to own something that doesn’t fit in your budget or it’s priced higher than your income, a normal person who gets just pay checks and he pays his bills from that and saves a little portion of it, he will just think by seeing that thing is ‘I can’t afford it’. Whereas a person who is really desperate to get that thing will think ‘how can I afford it’. One is a statement and other one is a question. By just saying ‘I can’t afford it’ or ‘I will think about it later’, your brain stops thinking because you are clear about that you are not able to afford it, on the other hand the person who ask ‘how can I afford it’ will put your brain on work. You will be thinking about earning the thing. It is not different from a person who goes to gym on regular basis versus someone who sits on the couch watching television. Proper physical exercise will increases your chances of health, and proper mental exercises your chances for wealth.
Don’t make it a habit of putting your brain on sleep when it comes to finances. Put it on work. It will benefit you in the long term.
